How Adverty Grew Revenue Through Data-Driven Optimization
A closer look at GEOs, app bundles, and demand sources turned a struggling ad account into a standout growth story.
The Challenge
When we first onboarded Adverty in February 2024, the account was struggling to reach its full monetization potential. The fill rate was below 5%, CPMs were low, and monthly revenue averaged around $10,000.
Although there was available traffic, much of it wasn’t being monetized effectively due to limited demand and an unoptimized traffic mix.
Understanding the Opportunity
Rather than making assumptions, we took a step back and analyzed the data. We reviewed performance across different GEOs, app bundles, CPM trends, and demand sources to understand where the strongest opportunities existed.
A few app bundles and specific regions were consistently generating better revenue than the rest.
Our Approach
Based on these insights, we worked closely with the publisher and recommended increasing traffic to the high-performing GEOs and app bundles. Instead of focusing on increasing overall traffic, the goal was to improve the quality of the traffic being monetized.
We also continued monitoring performance regularly to ensure our optimizations were delivering the expected results.
Implementation
As the publisher gradually increased traffic to the recommended inventory, we continuously tracked key performance metrics such as fill rate, CPM, and revenue. Regular performance reviews allowed us to make further adjustments whenever required, ensuring that we were maximizing the value of every impression.
The Results
The impact of these optimizations became visible over the following months. Monthly revenue grew steadily, alongside significant improvements in both fill rate and CPM — creating a healthier, more sustainable monetization strategy.
